The successful candidate will work at TU Delft alongside a fellow experimental postdoc at Erasmus MC to: (1) characterize (un)treated tumor samples using optogenetics, photoselection, and single-cell RNA sequencing; (2) model single-cell and subclonal response to treatment based on transcriptomic profiles and functional imaging features, including cell dynamics and morphology; (3) identify biomarker signatures of resistance to therapy.

Qualifications

PhD in computer science, machine learning, data science or equivalent. Experience in bioinformatics. There is opportunity to develop ideas on algorithmic and statistical learning topics, in connection with ongoing projects (see http://joanagoncalves.org/people.html).
